70s Inspiration.

Walking in a winter wonderland.

Another outfit post for you lovelies!

A few photos from my outfit of the day yesterday from a visit to Winter Wonderland in London, I pulled the coat out again but it's much better styled this time. I got a brand new phone and it takes great pictures so I managed to get some images with much more detail! The hat, boots and shirt are all from H&M and are new and I will post about them and the rest of my November haul later as well as a post about my day at Winter Wonderland.

Mango winter coat.

It arrived!!!!!!

I got home today to find a large cardboard box waiting for me on the dining room table, I knew what it was instantly. Though I was a bit anxious at ordering from a website I haven't used before, the delivery was pretty quick. The website states 2-4 days and I ordered at about 1 am Monday morning (I've no idea why I was up at that time!) and here we are on Thursday and it has arrived! I ordered size 'S' and it fits beautifully, the length is just about right and very reminiscent of 70s shearling coats. The colour is a touch darker than the website but i'm pretty happy with that, it contrasts well with the lining. I can see me wearing this with a lot of different outfits and I am looking forward to styling it and testing what works well with it. It won't keep me dry when it rains but it will certainly keep me toasty when the winter cold really sets in. Overall I am incredibly impressed with my purchase from Mango and I would definitely recommend them not only for the quality of the clothing but also for their service as a retailer. That 70's coat!

It's Monday which means that everyone is feeling a little down at the start of a new week and let's face it everyone would rather stay in bed on a Monday morning for an extra hour! I for one missed my alarm this morning and was only awoken by my mother asking if I was actually going to get up today. So the day didn't quite start off as planned but it needn't all be bad, for one thing - Mango has a 30% flash sale on!!! Obviously to cure my dose of Monday blues I have indulged in a little something to warm my cockles on a cold winters day and so I have purchased an item I have been craving for awhile now, a cosy Shearling coat. Depending on your budget it is a rather eye watering £69.99 but with the added 30% I got it for £48.99 and I've a feeling it is going to be an investment that I won't regret.

Mango - FAUX SHEARLING-LINED COAT £69.99

Not only is it clearly one of the best coats I have ever laid these blue eyes upon but it is right on trend channeling that 70s vibe that took over the AW runway shows and is slowly creeping into all the high street stores. I'll let you in on a secret, i'm not fully convinced by 1970s fashion but like all crazy trends - with a little moderation it can really work! I'm feeling this coat with a tailored shirt tucked into some ripped skinny jeans and a pair of brogues and a messy textured mop to finish it off! If you are feeling the Shearling love but not quite the style of this one then I've included some more options below to get you inspired!
