Christmas Wishlist 2014

I'm usually terrible and coming up with a Christmas Wishlist - just ask my mum - but this year so many things have caught my eye and I'll be honest, they have all been a little pricey! I'm not expecting any of it, but I felt that it was necessary to share my finds with all of you, maybe you'll see something you like!

1. Nike Air Force 1 Low - I've wanted these bad boys since I was a teenager and I want them now, more than ever! I feel like I need a good pair of trainers to really level out my wardrobe, something comfy and waterproof to get me through the winter months and take me straight through to Summer. Being all white they will go with so many outfits and add a casual edge to even the smartest garments I own.

2. Eyeko Alexa Chung Set - I have an Eyeko Skinny liner pen and it has to be my favourite eyeliner I have ever owned! It's easy to use and wonderfully precise so that you can achieve a perfect cat eye every time. After a great experience with the eyeliner I'm keen to try the mascara and since my skinny liner is running out, I'd be more than happy to try out this one!

3. Rotary Rose Gold Watch - Rotary are a brand that i've only recently become aware of, not in the sense that i've only just found it, but more that I am only now starting to notice it and find designs I really love. What I love about this one is it's vintage leather strap and the softness of the rose gold against that. Not only that but Rotary's watches are excellent quality and fully waterproof.

4. Next Perfume Clutch Bag - Bang on trend with this season's infatuation with the 'Novelty Bag' I saw this in Next's store in my hometown and I couldn't stop going back to it. It's a cute little accessory to pair with day and night outfits and your bag collection will look extra cool with this little addition to it.

5. Next High Neck Jumper - I've seen this style jumper in Next, George and New Look and I'm really digging it. The high neck is a great shape for people who aren't overly keen on the polo or cowl neck but still want some height on their neckline. I'm also a great lover of grey and I can see this paired with skirts, jeans and trousers! A smart little number to add to any winter wardrobe.

6. Si by Giorgio Armani - I found a sample of this in a magazine I bought not so long ago and I adore the scent, so naturally I really want it!

7. Daisy Ring by Pandora - What's not to like about this delicate little daisy ring from Pandora? It's sweet and chic and unlike all the costume jewellery you've picked up over the years in Topshop or Primark - it won't rust or tarnish! I've never been a massive fan of their bracelets but their rings recieve a massive thumbs up from me!

What are you wishing for this christmas?

That 70's coat!

It's Monday which means that everyone is feeling a little down at the start of a new week and let's face it everyone would rather stay in bed on a Monday morning for an extra hour! I for one missed my alarm this morning and was only awoken by my mother asking if I was actually going to get up today. So the day didn't quite start off as planned but it needn't all be bad, for one thing - Mango has a 30% flash sale on!!! Obviously to cure my dose of Monday blues I have indulged in a little something to warm my cockles on a cold winters day and so I have purchased an item I have been craving for awhile now, a cosy Shearling coat. Depending on your budget it is a rather eye watering £69.99 but with the added 30% I got it for £48.99 and I've a feeling it is going to be an investment that I won't regret.

Mango - FAUX SHEARLING-LINED COAT £69.99

Not only is it clearly one of the best coats I have ever laid these blue eyes upon but it is right on trend channeling that 70s vibe that took over the AW runway shows and is slowly creeping into all the high street stores. I'll let you in on a secret, i'm not fully convinced by 1970s fashion but like all crazy trends - with a little moderation it can really work! I'm feeling this coat with a tailored shirt tucked into some ripped skinny jeans and a pair of brogues and a messy textured mop to finish it off! If you are feeling the Shearling love but not quite the style of this one then I've included some more options below to get you inspired!

September cravings.

I am most definitely meant to be cleaning my bedroom tonight but as it turns out - online shopping is much better! I have found so much that I want, which leads me to believe this was not a good idea as I really do need to be saving my money! I was originally ebaying some wicked trainers to wear through Autumn/Winter when I came across a pair from the lesser popular European nugget that is Bershka! I originally visited one of their stores when I went to Majorca on holiday and I was super thrilled (yeah I just used that phrase...) when it came across seas to London. The only issue is that I do not live in London. Shame. However, they have a wonderful website where you can find everything you need and I'm a little overwhelmed by the endless choices, a few of my key picks are below. There's also a little bit of Pull & Bear and Zara thrown in for good measure.

I've also gotten into the habit of listening to music whilst shopping so I've included some Jessie Ware to get you in the shopping mood.

Bershka | BSK Cat Jumper | £19.99

Bershka | BSK Metallic Running Shoes | £39.99

Pull & Bear | Basic Stripe Print Dress | £19.99
It doesn't come with the grey top underneath, but man is that cute!

ZARA | Printed Trousers | £29.99

The Slip/Cami Dress.

My boyfriend and I went out last night for our 1 year anniversary, it is amazing how fast a year can pass and all that happens within it. I posted the below picture to my facebook page -

A friend of mine mentioned that she liked my dress, I bought in Zara in December for a Christmas party but I haven't had a reason to wear it again until last night and I was more than happy to allow it out of my wardrobe again! It's a fitted slip dress and usually I don't wear fitted dresses as I am not overly confident about my figure, however this fits perfectly and smooths out your shape. I love the style of this dress and would love to buy some more similar to it, so I have trawled the internet for some gorgeous and sexy dresses that I love found on ASOS and Missguided -

Asos Wishlist May.

Sorry for the delay in posts, we haven't had internet for awhile and i am now stealing the computer at my boyfriend's house to make a post! I've been fairly busy recently with work, driving, revising and planning the bf's 22nd birthday this weekend! Mine is next month as well...damn do I feel old! Anyway, I thought that I would share my ASOS wishlist with you all today to get back into the swing of things and so that you can see a bit more of my style I suppose. Feeling Tropical.

For someone who dresses in so much dark clothing i've developed a real bad appetite for tropical prints recently. I think it's the influence of the sun coming back into dreary old England as well as the thought that June-July-August (my three favourite months!) are only a short wait away. I'm also learning to drive again, which at the grand old age of 21 is a touch overdue really, but a licence means unlimited beach trips in the summer and i can't wait! I've included some garments on my 'Feeling Tropical' wish list that really sell the idea of cocktails and sandy beaches to me and would add a little sunshine to my own wardrobe!
